Out of the original 25 sketches that I loved I picked out the three brand names of Solatium, Zenix, Benefactor and although at first I was going for a simple thing like "sleep" benefactor I decided to change it up by adding just benefactor and at first the C and stars were supposed to represent sleep but it looks as if something from a drink brand so I decided to model it with a font that fits a beer company I thought it was fine. Solatium, Zenix Benefactor, Sim agency with the A and S and nother A to give a simple thought to make it stand out so it can reflect how the other A looks with its little triangle and the S that represents Sim, and last but not least Pixel Craft. Solatium is a word for comfortable in latin and I thought it was good to use a font that is thin to fit its aesthetic and though it looks iffy I could add more to it by change the O and making it look a little neater, I personally loved the concept I came up with but my overall favorite would possibly be Zenix because at first I was lost but I decided to see how it would go by using double E's and coloring it in to make it stand out which makes it look like its a Sports brand company and put a red I that I used outlines to create a line that runs through the black I which is intentional. I feel that Pixel Craft the one in the bottom was also a nice concept I did but I could change up the approach in how I did it but I loved how the block is taken out and my 2nd is benefactor because not only the font is good and fits the vibe the design I used for the red C at the top by using outlines to stretch it out the aesthetic for it is really good I can't decide which I could work on for the semester either Zenix or Benefactor.

The one thing I had the most connection to speak out for is Housing Inequalities. As the years go there has been many families struggling to pay rent let alone buy a house because of the fact that rent has increased to such an extent that more than half the income in paycheck is reduced alone to pay rent leaving struggles for low income families. Alongside the fact that  there is no state or county where a renter working full-time at minimum wage can afford a two-bedroom apartment, as well as  6.8 million more affordable housing units are needed for extremely low income families. Social Justice Topic

Some of the topics that made me interested to speak out for is Racial Discrimination in Housings and inequalities, Financial Inequality as well as Health Care access.  The one that interests me alot as of right now would be Housing inequalities because here in New York as people who live in an economy where price is always going up and it is getting more difficult by the day to afford rent without it taking half your income, it becomes hard to live with its economy. In the designing for social justice in order to improve housing inequalities with racism also being a matter in this case, I would be able to bring the events of people of low income getting taken advantage. Editorial Design

Based on the video, the editorial design components that are important involve the grid system. The grid creates structure on a page the same way frame of a building allows the rest of it to be kept balanced. Alongside the consistency of elements on each page when creating a brochure for example, you should aim for the reader to be able to figure out the hierarchy quickly and not have to think about it for a longer period of time.  Editorial design feels limited but it gets the idea across through containing consistent elements that help give hierarchy to the design, which is most effective in things like magazines and comic books in order to get the idea across effectively for the people.  The article that contains poster series made by different designers.
