Branding

The original idea for this rough sketch was to make a house divided to show while some are financially free with good housing most are stuck in an endless loop of financial struggles with the goal of buying a house while rent takes almost half of their income. This was something that really struck out to me and I felt the need to make such a design to speak out and attract the audience. Alongside the creative design that I made, I also added a pie chart as a sort of data visualization in order to portray the % of homes in financial distress to % the homes that are financially free. While this seems alright for a rough sketch I plan to add more data aside just the generic Pie chart for the actual draft as it would feel pointless if the draft itself was just only simple rough ideas instead of idea that further connects to my topic of Housing Inequalities.
